State Advocacy Day

The annual Delaware Credit Union Day reception takes place to position credit unions to be top of mind with the General Assembly. The event, declared "Credit Union Day" in the First State by the Governor, provides an opportunity to celebrate and thank elected officials for their continued commitment to credit unions, their members and their communities.

It also provides an excellent opportunity for the credit union community and the leaders of state government to meet and discuss our shared goal of enhancing the financial well-being of the people of Delaware. Cordial networking and discussions continue following formal presentations and briefings on key issues.

Delaware Advocacy Committee

The Delaware Advocacy Committee meets throughout the year to discuss legislative and regulatory priorities, attend events, and deliberate on policy matters. Membership, free and open to employees and volunteers of CCUA-affiliated credit unions, allows your credit union to have a voice to help shape the local and national credit union advocacy platform.

State Advocacy Committees

Advocacy Committees maintain open membership free to employees and volunteers of CCUA-affiliated credit unions interested in lending a voice to help shape the local and national credit union advocacy platform. While a consistent advocacy front is important, attendance at every meeting is not mandatory. If credit union directors, CEOs, or staff are interested in attending, upon review of any meeting agenda, then membership and attendance is welcome. Virtual participation is also available.
