Wave Federal Credit Union Collects 825 Pounds of Food for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Wave Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the successful completion of its November food drive benefiting the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of both members and staff, Wave FCU collected and delivered 825 pounds of food on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Throughout the month of November, Wave FCU invited members to contribute items from the Food Bank’s wish list. Staff also joined the effort by participating in weekly “dress-down Fridays,” earning the opportunity to wear jeans each week by donating at least $5 worth of food items.

The support shown by our members and employees truly reflects the community spirit that Wave FCU is built on. We’re grateful to everyone who donated and helped us make a meaningful impact for Rhode Islanders facing food insecurity.

The donated items were delivered to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, where they will help local families in need as the holiday season approaches.
