As part of Wave FCU’s annual scholarship program, four students were selected to receive $1,500 scholarships after a competitive application process that considered academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community service, and the overall strength of each application.

The 2026 recipients are Abigail Ellison, Gracelyn Cobb, Maia Costa, and Samantha Moffat.

In addition to the annual scholarship program, Wave FCU also presented two Donald R. Staley Memorial Scholarships to graduating seniors from Pilgrim High School and Toll Gate High School. The Donald R. Staley Memorial Scholarships are part of Wave’s ongoing commitment to financial education through its CU4Reality® Financial Education Fair. The scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement and are continuing their education after graduation in pursuit of a mathematics or business degree.

The 2026 Donald R. Staley Memorial Scholarship recipients are Tiffany Blanco of Pilgrim High School and Alexa Lautiera of Toll Gate High School. The scholarships were awarded by President & CEO David Dupéré during each school’s Honors Night celebration.

“Supporting education extends far beyond awarding scholarships,” said Dupéré. “We believe in helping students prepare for life after graduation by providing financial education and investing in their future. Congratulations to all of this year’s scholarship recipients, we look forward to seeing all they accomplish.”

Wave Federal Credit Union congratulates all six scholarship recipients and extends its appreciation to every student who applied. The caliber of this year’s applicants made the selection process especially competitive, highlighting the bright future of the communities Wave FCU proudly serves.
