Volunteer Opportunities for Special Olympics of Delaware

Calling all Delaware Credit Unions!

The Delaware Social Responsibility Committee is proud to support the Special Olympics of Delaware (SODE) and invites you to join us in making a difference!

Since 2024, we have been building a strong partnership with SODE, and in 2025, Delaware credit unions will have multiple opportunities to contribute through volunteer efforts. As the charity of choice for Delaware credit unions, we encourage you to show your support and get involved.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

State Basketball Tournament | March 15 | 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
University of Delaware, Bob Carpenter Center, Newark

We are excited to announce that CCUA and Delaware Credit Unions are sponsoring the Healthy Athletes program at this event! SODE has reserved 20 volunteer spots exclusively for Delaware credit union volunteers to assist with the skills contests during the tournament.

Special Olympics DE Summer Games | June 13–14
University of Delaware Athletic Campus

Delaware credit unions will once again come together to volunteer as a group. Stay tuned—the exclusive credit union registration link will be shared once it becomes available!

Fall Festival | Date: TBD

We will also have an opportunity to support SODE at their annual Fall Festival—details to come!
