St. Anne’s Credit Union held its 89th Annual Meeting at its Corporate Office in Fall River on April 14. Board Members John R. Ledwidge, Colleen Brady, and newly elected Chairman of the Board Bruce E. Fernandes were re-elected.
At the meeting, Chairman Bruce E. Fernandes and President & CEO Eileen M. Migliozzi highlighted a year of meaningful growth—expanding membership, enhancing services, and increasing community impact. In 2024, St. Anne’s extended $153 million in loans to members and local businesses, reinforcing its commitment to financial empowerment.
“Since 1936, we’ve grown from humble roots into one of Massachusetts’ largest credit unions, now totaling $1.35 billion in assets,” said Chairman Fernandes. “With 12 branches—including our newest in Taunton—and innovations like rewards credit cards, enhanced remote banking, and Live Video Tellers available seven days a week, we continue to prioritize accessibility and member value.”
In addition to improved services, St. Anne’s introduced a new Rewards Checking Account with no monthly fees, no minimum balance, and reward points on everyday spending. Members can combine these with points earned on their St. Anne’s Rewards Credit Card for even more benefits, including travel, event tickets, and electronics. New tools were also added, including virtual car shopping with pre-approval, to make banking even more convenient.
“Our success is a direct result of listening to our members and delivering real value,” said President & CEO Eileen M. Migliozzi. “We’re honored to be named Best Credit Union by the SouthCoast community for the eighth year running and among Banker & Tradesman’s Top 10 Lenders in Massachusetts for the second year in a row. These recognitions reflect the dedication of our incredible team.”
That dedication was on full display in 2024, with one employee marking 40 years of service and the collective tenure of staff and board members surpassing 2,000 years.
St. Anne’s also continued its investment in the future, awarding $26,000 in scholarships to local students. To learn more, visit stannes.com/scholarships.
