James Akin leads regulatory advocacy for America’s Credit Unions, managing engagement with the NCUA, CFPB, and the Department of the Treasury, responding to proposed regulations, advising on legislative changes, and serving as a liaison between credit unions and federal policymakers. He previously held policy roles at the White House and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
