Michael Edwards, Attorney & Founder of the Law Office of Michael S. Edwards

Michael Edwards is a credit union attorney with more than 20 years of experience advising credit unions, CUSOs, fintechs, trade associations, nonprofits, and small businesses on regulatory, compliance, transactional, and advocacy matters. He previously served as Senior Vice President for Advocacy and General Counsel of the World Council of Credit Unions and Senior Assistant General Counsel at CUNA. Michael regularly speaks and writes on credit union regulatory issues, including cybersecurity, BSA, consumer protection, governance, and compliance.
