Established in 2011, the Granite State Warrior Award is presented annually to a New Hampshire-based organization or resident whose efforts have significantly improved the health, morale, welfare or recognition of U.S. military personnel and their families. Service Credit Union was selected for its unique programs and unwavering support for the military community, which has been central to its mission since its founding in 1957 on the former Pease Air Force Base.

In the past year alone, Service Credit Union has delivered 66 financial literacy classes overseas, reaching nearly 1,100 individuals and helping service members build a stronger financial future. In New Hampshire, the credit union has also partnered with numerous Veteran Service Organizations to amplify their missions, fill critical service gaps and enhance outcomes for those who have served.

“We are honored to receive the Granite State Warrior Award from MOAA,” said Jaime Yates, Assistant Vice President of Community Development at Service Credit Union. “Supporting service members, veterans, and their families is central to our mission, and this award affirms the impact of our work in the community.”

The Military Officers Association of America is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional association representing United States military officers. MOAA advocates for a strong national defense and supports policies that improve the lives of military members and their families through education, benefits and quality-of-life initiatives.

Service Credit Union remains committed to honoring its military roots through meaningful action, advocacy, and education for those who serve and have served.
