Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Lighthouse Credit Union, Dover, NHThe Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing and continuously improving the credit union’s talent acquisition processes in alignment with enterprise people strategies established by the SVP, People Experience & Capability. This role leads full-cycle recruiting, partners with hiring managers to deliver effective and consistent selection practices, and helps ensure the organization attracts, engages, and hires mission-aligned talent to meet current and evolving business needs. Serving as a trusted partner to leaders across the organization, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist brings market insight, recruiting expertise, and process discipline to strengthen hiring outcomes, talent pipeline development, and overall recruiting effectiveness. This role also supports external sourcing relationships and recruiting programs that reinforce Lighthouse Credit Union’s reputation as an employer of choice within the communities it serves.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Interview Excellence
- Leads full-cycle recruiting across frontline, professional, and leadership roles, managing requisitions from intake through offer with clear communication, proactive follow-up, and disciplined process execution.
- Partners with hiring leaders to translate business needs into effective recruiting plans, candidate profiles, and selection strategies.
- Designs and implements structured, competency-based interview tools aligned to Leadership Competencies and enterprise hiring standards to support consistent evaluation across roles and levels.
- Applies data-driven hiring tools, including Predictive Index (PI) and other assessments, to support selection decisions, validate behavioral fit, and enhance quality of hire.
- Partners with HR, compensation, and hiring leaders to support offer development, candidate closing, and smooth transition into onboarding.
Pipeline Development & External Recruiting Sources
- Builds and maintains sustainable talent pipelines for high-volume, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles aligned to current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Develops and manages external recruitment partnerships, including workforce development agencies, veteran and military transition programs, disability employment organizations, educational institutions, and community partners.
- Supports internship, apprenticeship, and early-career recruiting efforts that strengthen long-term talent readiness and community presence.
Candidate Experience
- Delivers a thoughtful, high-quality candidate experience that reflects the credit union’s mission, values, and culture throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinates interview scheduling, candidate communications, and stakeholder alignment to ensure a seamless, professional, and well-organized candidate journey.
- Ensures candidates have clarity on role expectations, organizational priorities, and career opportunities while representing Lighthouse effectively in the market.
- Partners with Marketing and Communications to support a consistent and compelling employment brand across career sites, social media, and recruitment materials.
Hiring Manager Enablement
- Supports hiring managers with interview preparation, candidate evaluation, and final selection decisions.
- Coaches and equips hiring managers with tools, training, and best practices to drive effective, equitable hiring decisions.
- Provides consultative support on job design, interviewing techniques, and selection strategies.
- Promotes consistent, compliant, and inclusive recruitment practices across all business units. Talent Analytics, Process &
Vendor Management
- Tracks and monitors talent acquisition KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to evaluate performance, quality of hire, time-to-fill, and pipeline health.
- Uses data and analytics to identify trends, improve recruiting effectiveness, and inform hiring recommendations.
- Supports optimization of recruitment technology, applicant tracking workflows, vendors, and external partners to improve efficiency, reporting, and both candidate and hiring manager experiences.
Requirements/Skills Needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 5-7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including full-cycle recruiting across a broad range of roles and partnership with business leaders on hiring needs.
- Experience in financial services, credit unions, or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Experience developing recruiting strategies, building external talent pipelines, and managing candidate flow from intake through offer.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and candidate assessment tools.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant professional certification preferred.

Hybrid work is an opportunity to find the right balance between working in the office and remotely, especially if it supports individual success and the needs of our organization. Hybrid schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business unit needs and may vary by department.
