Massachusetts Credit Unions Raise $110,000 for A Bed for Every Child

STERLING, MA — Massachusetts credit unions and their partners gathered Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Sterling National Country Club for the annual Stephen D. Jones Charity Golf Tournament, raising $110,000 for A Bed for Every Child, an initiative of the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless.

A Bed for Every Child works to ensure every child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep by providing beds to children whose families cannot afford them.

Participants enjoyed a beautiful day on the course, featuring friendly competition, great weather and an opportunity to come together in support of a meaningful cause.

Congratulations to the tournament's first-place team, Mike Ventura of State National and Dan Picard of Cranberry FCU.

Thanks to the generosity of golfers, sponsors and supporters, Massachusetts credit unions raised $110,000 for A Bed for Every Child during the 2025–2026 fundraising season. The contribution brings the total amount raised by Massachusetts credit unions for the initiative to more than $3.2 million, helping provide children across the Commonwealth with a safe and comfortable place to sleep.
