Nashua, NH – The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) proudly announces that Duome has been selected as the winner of the Fifth Annual Cyber Showcase, held during the 2026 Fintech Connect conference on June 17 in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Hosted and sponsored by Silvur, the Cyber Showcase featured five emerging fintech companies presenting innovative solutions designed to help credit unions address industry challenges and enhance member service. This year's competition included presentations from AiVantage, Casap, Confer Lending, Saris AI, and Duome.

During the showcase, each company was given eight minutes to present its solution to an audience of credit union leaders and industry professionals before participating in a question-and-answer session. Following the presentations, attendees cast live votes to determine the winner of the Fifth Annual Cyber Showcase. The interactive format provided participants with the opportunity to evaluate each solution and gain insight into emerging technologies and innovative business models shaping the future of financial services.

Eric Berg, Co-Founder of Duome, earned top honors in this year's Cyber Showcase following a live vote by conference attendees. Berg highlighted how Duome's community-led co-ownership model can help address housing affordability challenges while creating new opportunities for credit unions to support prospective homeowners.

Duome, a newly formed credit union service organization (CUSO), is building a path to housing affordability through a community-led co-ownership model. The company partners qualified homebuyers with a credit union mortgage and community investment capital, helping reduce upfront homebuying costs and monthly payments while expanding mortgage opportunities for credit unions. Duome's innovative approach to housing affordability and homeownership resonated strongly with attendees, highlighting how collaboration between credit unions, technology providers, and community investors can expand access to affordable housing opportunities.

"The Cyber Showcase continues to be one of the most anticipated elements of Fintech Connect because it gives credit union leaders a firsthand look at emerging solutions that have the potential to make a meaningful impact on their institutions and members," said Melissa Pomeroy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cooperative Credit Union Association. "This year's presenters delivered innovative ideas, strong business cases, and a clear understanding of the challenges facing credit unions today. We congratulate Duome on earning this year's top honor and thank all of the participants for sharing their vision and expertise with our attendees."

Fintech Connect brought together credit union leaders and fintech innovators from across the Northeast for a day of education, networking, demonstrations, and collaboration. Hosted by the CCUA in partnership with the Association of Vermont Credit Unions and the New York Credit Union Association, the event focused on emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and practical solutions that can help credit unions better serve their members.

Now in its fifth year, the Cyber Showcase has become a signature component of Fintech Connect, providing a platform for fintech innovators to showcase emerging solutions while offering credit union leaders a glimpse into the future of financial services.
