MMFCU Announces 2025 Scholarships
MassMutual FCU is proud to support the educational aspirations of our young members by awarding 10 scholarships, each valued at $2,000. This annual initiative is part of MMFCU’s commitment to empowering our community through education and financial support.
In addition, MassMutual FCU participates in the Pioneer Valley Chapter (PVC) Credit Union Scholarship Program, which also offers 10 scholarships valued at $2,000 each. This year, the Pioneer Valley Chapter honored MMFCU’s recently retired CEO, Dave Plantier, by naming 2 scholarships in his honor.

The Kerry Hurley Scholarship
This year, MassMutual Federal Credit Union is honored to name the first of our ten scholarships after Kerry Hurley, MMFCU’s former Chair of the Board. This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Kerry Hurley, a cherished member of our MMFCU family whose legacy continues to inspire us all.
Kerry dedicated more than 20 years to the Credit Union, first as the leader of the Supervisory Committee and later as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was known not only for his outstanding leadership and sharp insight but also for his kindness, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping others. His presence was a guiding light within MMFCU, and his impact on our organization and community will never be forgotten.
In selecting Isabella Spaulding, the first recipient of this scholarship, MMFCU sought someone who embodies the values Kerry exemplified: integrity, dedication, and genuine care for others. We hope this scholarship inspires Isabella to lead with the same heart and purpose that Kerry brought to everything he did.
