This role also requires a strong understanding of paid content, emerging trends, audience behavior, and analytics, with the ability to contribute ideas that strengthen how Lighthouse Credit Union connects with members and communities. Working cross-functionally, the role creates engaging social-first content to support campaigns, products, and community impact, using insights and analytics to continuously optimize performance. Director, Talent Development, Lighthouse Credit Union, Dover, NH

The Director of Talent Development plays a critical role in designing and executing comprehensive learning and development strategies that enhance leadership capabilities across all organizational levels, drive performance outcomes, and significantly improve the member experience. This position is responsible for translating organizational strategies into targeted learning initiatives that influence behaviors, cultivate member trust, and reinforce a culture centered on advocacy, accountability, and service excellence—fostering robust relationships, heightened engagement, and sustainable organizational growth. Partnering with executive leadership and Human Resources, the Director supports the execution of Lighthouse's talent strategy by developing and scaling programs in leadership development, succession planning, onboarding, and capability enhancement. These initiatives are purposely aligned with the organization's mission and core values. The Director, characterized by a builder mindset, integrates strategic insights with strategic execution, influencing key leaders, and ensuring that investments in learning directly contribute to organizational, team, and individual objectives. This role requires close partnerships with HR to drive cultural initiatives, optimize performance management systems, conduct talent reviews, facilitate career mapping, and enhance people enablement efforts. Additionally, the Director collaborates to ensure that recognition and rewards are cohesively aligned with the overarching team member experience strategy.
