Hidden Gems of InfoSight360 – Part 2
These often-overlooked features can make managing and maintaining your content easier than ever.
- Restore Deleted Content. Accidentally deleted a policy, procedure, or BCP section? Instead of recreating it from scratch, restore deleted content directly from the Archives area. It's a simple way to recover information and save valuable time.
- Compare Model and Custom Content. Quickly see the differences between your custom content and the latest model content. Compare changes side-by-side, review updates more efficiently, and decide what should be incorporated into your organization's content.
- Lock for Editing. Prevent editing conflicts by locking content while you're making updates or waiting for approval. Add a note explaining why the content is locked and receive a notification if another user unlocks it to make changes.
- Redlines. Easily see what has changed before publishing. Redlines highlight additions, deletions, and edits, making it easier to review revisions, verify updates, and maintain a clear audit trail. Accept or reject changes as needed.
- Content Labels. Organize content in a way that makes sense for your institution. Whether you use chapters, sections, books, policies, procedures, forms, or appendices, custom labels help identify content more clearly and make it easier to navigate.
- Custom Date Fields. Need to track more than Reviewed, Revised, or Board Approved dates? Create custom date fields to monitor review schedules, audits, regulatory deadlines, or other important compliance activities.
- Default Font Selection. Create a more consistent experience across your organization by selecting a preferred default font. Your chosen font will automatically be applied in the editor, printouts, and published content unless a different font has been intentionally assigned.
