Harvard Federal Credit Union Appoints Kriti Modi First-ever CIO

Kriti Modi Harvard Federal Credit Union (Harvard FCU) has appointed Kriti Modi as its first Chief Information Officer (CIO). The new position was established this year to support Harvard FCU’s transition to a federal charter and its expansion into new markets. She will be overseeing Digital Banking and Information technology, Operations and Data Analytics.

Modi brings extensive experience in digital transformation and member experience innovation within the financial services industry. Most recently, she served as SVP/Director of Digital Engagement and Member Experience at St. Mary’s Bank, where she oversaw all member-facing technologies across deposit and lending products. She has also held leadership roles at Santander and Citizens Bank. Modi earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and her MS from University of Chicago.
