FRMCU Spreads Holiday Cheer with Successful Toy Drive

Fall River Municipal Credit Union proudly partnered with Citizens for Citizens to host a toy drive, bringing joy to local children and families in need this holiday season.  Through the generosity of its members and employees, the credit union collected toys, which were donated to Citizens for Citizens to distribute to local families. 

This toy drive encouraged donations of new, unwrapped toys that were suitable for all ages.  The response from the local community far exceeded expectations. 

Along with the toy driving initiative, FRMCU also donated the money that was raised for Jeans Day Fridays during the month of December, as each month, employees dress down and make donations to support local charities of their choice. The month of December was dedicated to Citizens for Citizens and all that they do for the community.

“At Fall River Municipal, we believe it is essential to give back to the community that supports us,” said President and CEO, Matthew Schondek of Fall River Municipal Credit Union.  He also stated that “it is heartwarming to see how our members and employees came together to make the holidays brighter for local families in need and we are honored to support the important work of Citizens for Citizens.”
