Heritage Family Credit Union (HFCU) has announced the appointment of seasoned banking leader Fred Aldrich as New Hampshire Market President, a role recently created to support continued growth, expanded services, and community impact throughout New Hampshire.
“We’re thrilled to have a leader like Fred Aldrich join our Leadership Team and help build upon the successes of our Hooksett Branch in this new role,” said HFCU President/CEO Chris Gomez, referring to the Hooksett location at 1337 Hooksett Road. “Being responsive to community needs is a hallmark of Heritage Family, and we are excited to have Fred leading the charge in New Hampshire as we look to expand our local services and impact.”
According to Gomez, Heritage Family seeks to continue in New Hampshire the same wholehearted commitment to meeting specific community needs that it has demonstrated across its regional markets throughout its 70-year history. Some notable recent highlights include expanding financial education programs through a Financial Boot Camp for Teens in Bennington, VT, the Roofs Over Rutland housing initiative addressing Vermont’s statewide housing crisis, and a Community Conversations seminar series for nonprofit professionals to explore current topics and trends.
As New Hampshire Market President, Aldrich brings more than 20 years of experience in retail banking leadership, relationship management, and lending. Starting with HSBC Bank USA, N.A., in 2002, he advanced through a progressive series of leadership roles and in 2012 joined Community Bank, N.A., where he oversaw branch networks and lending operations in New York and New England. Aldrich holds a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo and is deeply committed to community service as well as volunteering as a youth basketball and soccer coach in Keene, N.H.
“Because both my parents and my wife’s family are from New Hampshire, I’ll admit I’m a little biased when it comes to the people and places that make this state so special,” said Aldrich, who lives in Keene, N.H., with his wife and their two children. “I’m truly grateful for this opportunity to help Heritage Family build upon its long history of serving its members by continuing to support the financial well-being of communities throughout New Hampshire.”
