Credit Unions of Rhode Island Continue Proud Tradition at High School Basketball Playoffs

The excitement is building as Rhode Island’s top high school basketball teams prepare to compete for the state championship! The Rhode Island Interscholastic League Credit Union Basketball Championships will take center stage at the University of Rhode Island’s Ryan Center on March 15 and 16, 2025, where the best of the best will battle for the title.

For over 30 years, the Credit Unions of Rhode Island have proudly served as the presenting sponsor of this premier event, reinforcing their commitment to the local community and student-athletes. This long-standing partnership not only supports young athletes but also strengthens the visibility of credit unions across the state.

Celebrating Inclusion: Special Olympics Rhode Island Unified Basketball
One of the most inspiring moments of the weekend is the Special Olympics Rhode Island Unified Basketball exhibition games. Unified Sports brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to compete as teammates, promoting inclusion, teamwork, and community spirit. As the charity partner of the Credit Unions of Rhode Island, Special Olympics Rhode Island embodies the values of collaboration and support that credit unions stand for.
