Coastal1 Credit Union Announces New Promotions

Kevin J. Farrell has been promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer and will be responsible for the overall management of Coastal1’s lending activities including Commercial, Real Estate, Indirect, Retail Lending and Mortgage Origination departments. Kevin was previously the Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. During Kevin’s tenure he has repositioned Coastal1 as an experienced Commercial Lending team with the ability to provide appropriate financing to larger more complex relationships. Under his leadership, he has led a team to deliver solid loan growth while continuously improving the processes. He has over 30 years in the financial services industry and holds a BA in Economics from Providence College. Kevin is the Treasurer of the RI Mortgage Bankers Association; serves on the Audit Committee for St. Jude’s Parish as well as the Miriam Hospital Annual Gala Committee.

Patricia L. Webb has been promoted to Senior Vice President/Chief Services Officer and will be responsible for the overall management of Coastal1’s servicing departments including Deposit Operations, Loan & Mortgage Servicing, Collections, Compliance and Security. Patti was previously the Senior Vice President/Residential & Retail Lending, one of several positions she has held during her 32-year career at Coastal1. Under her leadership, Coastal1 established two very successful lending programs: indirect auto lending and indirect marine lending. Additionally, under her watch, loan delinquency levels have continued to remain well below that of Coastal1’s peer group. Patti's reputation for quickly assimilating current state, asking clarifying questions, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and driving operational excellence will help deliver consistent quality service and member experience across the credit union.
