Coastal1 Credit Union Announces New Hires and Promotions

Brian Azar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Coastal1 Credit Union, is pleased to announce the following:

Jeff Kolarik has been promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Information Officer. He has overall responsibility for Information Services at the credit union including Technology, Information Security, Business Intelligence, Digital Banking as well as Coastal1's Enterprise Project Management Office. Jeff has been in the operations and technology field for over 40 years, most recently serving as SVP/Chief Information Officer. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and is a member of the Finance Committee of the United Way.

Dawn Pinto has joined the credit union as Vice President/Contact Center. She is responsible for guiding the strategic direction, performance and efficiency of call center operations including the monitoring of metrics regarding member experience expectations. Dawn has nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as VP/Contact Center Development at Santander. She actively participates in local events by volunteering for the SPCA, Habit For Humanity and Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club.

Noemia Monteiro has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Assistant Controller and is responsible for the daily operations of the credit union’s accounting department including general ledger, accounts payable and financial reporting. She has been with the credit union since 2015, most recently serving as Assistant Controller. Noemia holds BS in Accounting from Rhode Island College and is an avid participant at Coastal1 volunteer events.
