CCUA Southern Massachusetts Chapter: Safeguarding Your Accounts

Ensuring the security of our members' information is paramount. While we have robust technological measures such as firewalls in place, it is equally crucial for our members to actively participate in safeguarding their data. Taking proactive steps can significantly reduce risks. Some essential practices our members should adopt include safeguarding their credentials, diligently reviewing statements for any irregular or suspicious activities, securely storing debit and credit cards, refraining from allowing websites to retain sensitive information like card numbers or passwords, among others.

By adhering to these proactive measures, together, we can defend against potential fraud and safeguard the integrity of our members’ financial information effectively. The below videos have been created to aid in communicating the importance of safeguarding our members’ accounts.
