CCUA Proudly Marches in GAC’s Parade of Flags

CCUA and our state credit union representatives proudly walked in the Parade of Flags Ceremony to kick off GAC! This powerful tradition brings credit unions from across the country together, each carrying their state or credit union flag as a symbol of our shared commitment to financial well-being and community impact.

Today, CCUA’s Chief Advocacy Officer, Adrian Velazquez, and Director of Advocacy, Jessica Avery, will join President/CEO Ron McLean in leading an in-depth briefing on the key legislative and regulatory priorities for 2025. This session will prepare attendees for productive meetings with congressional leaders during tomorrow’s Hike the Hill visits—ensuring that the collective voice of credit unions is heard loud and clear.

Additionally, this afternoon, CCUA CEOs will have the opportunity to meet with NCUA Chair Hauptman during GAC 2025, providing a valuable forum for discussion on key industry issues.
