CCUA NH Credit Unions Meet with NH Banking Department Commissioner Emelia Galdieri

On Tuesday, December 17th, the Cooperative Credit Union Association hosted NH Banking Department Commissioner Emelia Galdieri at America’s Credit Union Museum in Manchester. Ron McLean, CCUA President/CEO, moderating a robust conversation between credit union attendees, Commissioner Galdieri, and her team, including Deputy Banking Commissioner Michael Moranti and Raeleen Blaisdell, who oversees credit union examinations.

The Commissioner shared examination priorities, including cybersecurity/IT, liquidity, and succession planning. Credit unions shared current fraud trends and their best practices for reducing their impacts. Commissioner Galdieri also emphasized her support for financial literacy, highlighting New Hampshire credit unions' deep work in the space. We appreciate the collaborative conversation between credit unions and the NH Banking Department.
