CCUA 11th Annual Golf Tournament

On Monday, September 21, credit union leaders, business partners, and friends of CCUA gathered at The Haven Country Club in Boylston, MA, for the 11th Annual CCUA Golf Tournament. 

The tournament supports CCUA’s efforts to raise funds to support and defend the positive work credit unions do for their members. 

Golf highlights included:

• Women’s Longest Drive: Amanda Belding, Southbridge CU
• Men’s Longest Drive: Brian Talbot, Taunton FCU
• Low Team Scramble: Exsel Marketing Group, with Rich Suitam, Joe Borgatti, Karl Moisan, and Alex Mejia, with a score of 62
• Second Runner-Up: Taunton FCU, with Nelson Tavares, Joseph Lajoie, Mathew Aguiar, and Brian Talbot, with a score of 63 
• Putting Contest: Andrew Nannis, Greenwood Credit Union, sponsored by Velera
• Closest-to-the-Pin:  Brian Hartigan (Shrewsbury FCU), May Hatem (Service CU), John Murphy (Arkatechture), and Glenn Walton (Granite State CU)

Players also competed in Hit-the-Green challenges throughout the course, with first-place honors going to Jack Verducci of the Woo Sox Foundation, May Hatem of Service CU, Jeff Head of IC CU, and Mike O’Neil of Workers CU.

The day also featured raffles, a silent auction, and a Mohegan Sun Stay & Play Grand Prize, with Chip Lattanzio of Winbrook taking home the prize.
