Calling all DE Credit Unions: Special Olympics DE Volunteer Opportunities
The Delaware Credit Unions proudly began supporting Special Olympics Delaware in 2024. Under the leadership of Kristina Balun, Chair of the Social Responsibility Committee and a member of Eagle One FCU, we are reaching out for your assistance. To strengthen our commitment to Special Olympics Delaware, we are inviting credit unions to volunteer at various upcoming events.
The first event, the Polar Plunge Weekend, will take place at Rehoboth Beach from January 31st through February 2nd. This weekend promises a range of fun activities for all, and there are numerous volunteer opportunities available. You can sign up to volunteer via the Special Olympics Delaware - Volunteer Console. Additionally, we encourage you to mark your calendars and share these dates with your staff for other volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Special registration links will be provided by Special Olympics Delaware as they become available.
- Special Olympics DE Basketball Championships: March 15th at the University of Delaware
- Special Olympics DE Summer Games: June 12th through June 14th at the University of Delaware
- Special Olympics DE Fall Festival: Date TBD, held at St. Andrews High School, Middletown
