Small Credit Union Spring Training 2026 Recap

The 2026 Spring Training Series for Small Credit Unions wrapped up after four weeks of sessions focused on practical strategies and partner solutions, with recordings available for any missed content. Topics ranged from financial education platforms and AI tools to policy resources and compliance responsibilities, all tailored to support small credit union operations. The series concluded with insights on strengthening lending, managing risk, and adapting digital strategies to meet changing member needs.

Week One Recap: Reseda Group & Posh

Week One introduced The Reseda Group, a new CCUA partner, featuring its Evergreen Financial Education Platform—an affordable, turnkey solution providing continuously updated financial education content with optional customization.

Posh Technologies followed with a session on practical AI applications for small credit unions. Key use cases included chatbots, staff training tools, and loan decisioning support to streamline operations, reduce manual workload, and enhance member service while maintaining compliance.

Week Two Recap: League InfoSight & ViClarity

Week Two highlighted two partners included with CCUA dues. League InfoSight provided an overview of PolicyPro, featuring access to more than 230 model policies, regulatory updates, and succession planning resources.


ViClarity, presented by Crystal Streeper, emphasized that while operational functions may be outsourced, compliance accountability remains with the credit union. The session focused on evaluating risk, policies, and procedures while responsibly incorporating technology and automation.

Week Three Recap: Employers Association of the Northeast

Pam Thornton of Employers Association of the Northeast led Week Three, focusing on succession planning amid an anticipated wave of retirements across the industry. With an estimated 40% of credit union executives expected to retire within the next decade, the session underscored the importance of preparing across all leadership levels.

Week Four Recap: TruStage

The series concluded with Lisa Pavelski of Trusage, who shared strategies for growing lending portfolios while managing risk and strengthening digital capabilities.
