From Superwoman to Empowered: An Extreme Expectations Detox
In a society that celebrates the "superwoman" ideal, many women are pushed to their limits, juggling endless responsibilities and expectations. While we are capable of incredible feats, the cost of trying to do it all--sometimes all at once--can be overwhelming and detrimental. We need to understand how living in a constant fight-or-flight state affects our bodies and mind and why it’s crucial to break free.
This isn’t just another workshop; it’s a movement towards self-empowerment and well-being! Together we’ll embark on a journey to detox from the pressures of relentless resilience, over-commitment, and the exhausting pursuit of perfection. Let’s kick the “Superwoman” myth to the curb and embrace a more fulfilling, sustainable way of living. Get inspired, energized, and ready to take on the world—boundaries intact.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the key characteristics and consequences of superwoman syndrome i.e., relentless resiliency
- Recognize personal triggers and behaviors that contribute to superwoman tendencies (perfectionism and people-pleasing)
- Identify and challenge internalized biases and messaging that fuels superwoman syndrome
Develop strategies to set healthy boundaries and prioritize your whole-humanness.
