Marketing Assistant, Harvard University Employees Credit Union, Cambridge, MA

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for the execution of a variety of administrative duties necessary to support the marketing department in the implementation of the marketing plan. The Marketing Assistant reports to the Marketing Manager. 


-Provides timely, accurate, and professional administrative support for the marketing department.

-Manages the marketing material inventory and re-orders as needed.

-Assists in the deployment of marketing projects including distribution and display of materials at branches.

-Manages the distribution lists and delivery of several emails and print mailings.

-Runs routine reports and helps in the collection/inputting of data to support business functions.

-Assists in maintaining content and usability for public and internal websites.

-Oversees collection and payment of marketing invoices and assists with budget tracking.

-Assists in the implementation of the department’s event coordination.

-Assists the other positions within the department under direction from the Marketing Manager.

-Performs various other duties to support the department as needed.       


A minimum of two years of related work experience, preferably in marketing, financial services, administrative, and/or customer service environment.

Additional Qualifications

-Proficient with Microsoft Office

-Experience with website management, email marketing, online advertising and analytics.

-Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Hubspot platforms.

-Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

-Copywriting and proofreading/editing experience.

-Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines
