CCUA Announces Revamped CU Bootcamp and Developing Great Managers Programs


CCUA is committed to supporting the continuous learning and development of individuals within the credit union community. Newly facilitated by Aimee Morin, Director of Business Operations and Association Services, CCUA announces revamped signature education programs CU Bootcamp and Developing Great Managers. 

These in-person programs aim to provide comprehensive training tailored to the unique needs and challenges faced by credit unions and their staff. Each program is designed to equip credit union professionals with the tools and insights needed to thrive in their roles and contribute to the success and growth of their respective credit unions. 

CCUA's CU Bootcamp is designed for newcomers with little to no prior knowledge of the credit union movement and industry. This intensive program caters primarily to frontline staff but welcomes all eager learners. 

Developing Great Managers is a dynamic and immersive three-day course designed for emerging leaders and staff who are on the trajectory towards management or supervisor positions within their organizations.

Aimee Morin began her credit union career during high school working after school, weekends, and holidays in the call center. After earning BA in English and a Teacher Certification, she returned to credit unions and never looked back. The majority of her career was spent at the nation’s first credit union, St. Mary’s Bank, where she held all retail positions before transferring to the Training Department as a trainer. During this time, Aimee earned a Masters degree in Adult Education and Training. Shortly after, she was promoted to Training Supervisor and later transferred to the IT team as a Business Analyst. During her time at St. Mary’s Bank, she also formed and chaired the credit union’s Young Professionals Group which is still active today. 

Aimee received her Project Management Certification and joined Meridian Link as an Implementations Project Manager. Aimee joined CCUA in 2022 as a Business Services Project Manager and has recently been promoted to Director of Business Operations and Association Services. She is responsible for creating and enforcing operational processes and procedures, maintaining CCUA’s core systems and for coordinating CCUA’s education and professional development efforts. Aimee also serves as CCUA’s YP Network Liaison.

Aimee is a New Hampshire native and lives in Manchester with her husband, three kids and 2 dogs.
