TOPIC: Striking a Balance: Emotional Aspects of Being a Leader
Brigadier General Aida T. Borras enlisted in the Army in 1985. During her enlisted career, she served as an intelligence Soldier in the Combined Field Army (Republic of Korea-U.S.), the 96th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne), the 1st Special Operations Command (Airborne), the Special Forces Command (Airborne) and participated in combat operations during Operation Just Cause.
The Global Women’s Leadership Network (www.CUWomen.org) was formed by the World Council of Credit Unions over 16 years ago with the parallel aims of improving financial and professional empowerment for women both here in the United States and abroad. Since then, the initiative has sponsored many international projects and spawned 153 Sister Society Chapters in 28 Countries, with 30 chapters in the US.
