St. Anne’s Credit Union was pleased to award the Albert E. Mercier Scholarship to Emma McDonnell, a sixth-grade student at Holy Name School. Emma is the ninth recipient of this $500 scholarship awarded each year. The scholarship is named in honor of Albert E. Mercier, a longtime director and past Chairman of the Credit Union’s Board of Directors who devoted over 50 years of service to the Credit Union and its members.

Align Credit Union Hosts CU 4 Reality™ Financial Education Fairs

Hanscom FCU Celebrates Heroes Homecoming at Hanscom AFB

On July 19, employees at Hanscom FCU participated in Hanscom AFB’s annual celebration to welcome home approximately 50 service members after deployment abroad. The celebratory events of Heroes Homecoming, including a recognition ceremony, parade, and picnic, honored the service members and their families for their commitment and sacrifices. Retired U.S. Navy Captain Tom Kelly, a 1971 Medal of Honor recipient for actions in Vietnam, attended the private ceremony at the base’s conference center to assist in welcoming personnel home.

Kump has worked at UMassFive for the past 17 years, serving as Vice President of Member Service/COO, and brings to his new role 34 years of overall credit union experience working for three different institutions. Kump has held senior level positions at all three credit unions he has worked for, including 12 years with the nation’s first credit union, St. Mary’s Bank Credit Union in Manchester, NH.
