Wave FCU attended the ‘Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ 20^th Annual “Paws in the Park” dog walk this past weekend. Wave was a proud “Best Friend” sponsor for the second year and raffled off an amazing basket filled with goodies from local small businesses that included gift cards, dog toys, treats, paw balm, and more. The raffle winner also received a free voucher to attend our next community event, a “Hocus Pawcus” themed photoshoot in October. 

It turned out to be a great day filled with pet games and activities, local vendors for people and pets, and tasty treats. All funds raised help support the RI SPCA’s many community programs and services, including adoption, humane education, and high-quality veterinary care for all who need it, including moderate and lower-income families.
