UMassFive College Federal Credit Union Announces Promotions and New Hires
Rich Kump has been promoted to President/CEO, taking on the position with the retirement of UMassFive’s longstanding President/CEO, Kathy Hutchinson. Kump inherits control of the Credit Union with over 38,000 members and assets totaling over $460-million. He is an avid soccer fan and continues to play to this day.
Lauren Duffy has been promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. In her new position, Duffy will continue to perform all her existing duties, and will also oversee all consumer lending and residential real estate activities. She enjoys cycling back and forth to work a few days a week during the spring and summer.
Pam Hannah has been promoted to Vice President of IT & Operations. They will continue all information technology, project management, and facilities duties in this new role, while also adding the responsibility for account operations. Hannah enjoys running marathons, participating in various forms of social justice activism, and spending time with their wife and son.
James Wage has been promoted to Vice President of Retail Services. Wage will continue to perform his existing duties and is also assuming all Sponsor Group and business development activities. He enjoys spending time with his family and his yellow Labrador, Russell, as well as hiking.
Jeff Simpson has been promoted to Vice President of Commercial Lending & Chief Commercial Officer, where he will continue to focus on delivering highly competitive business services to the community. When Simpson is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and relaxing on the coast of Maine.
Karen Smith has joined UMassFive as Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer, and will be responsible for strategizing and budgeting for the Credit Union. Smith’s previous experience includes working as the VP of Finance/CFO at Connex Credit Union in North Haven, Connecticut. In her spare time she enjoys hiking with her husband Steve, and dog, Clyde.
Jay Caldwell has joined UMassFive as Vice President of Lending, where he will oversee the lending activity within the Credit Union. He most recently served as the Director of the Mortgage Operations Division at Digital Credit Union. Caldwell spends his free time hiking and snowboarding.« RETURN TO ALL NEWS
