Southern MA Chapter Shows Teller Appreciation

June 22nd was perfect weather for the Southern MA Chapter of Credit Unions to hold their Teller Appreciation and BSA update night at Merrill’s on the Waterfront in New Bedford, MA.

Nagle teahingThe night began with everyone gathering to catch up and see old friends. Nelson Tavares, Taunton FCU & Chapter Vice President welcomed everyone and introduced Bill Nagle from the Cooperative Credit Union Association. Nagle, pictured at left, engaged the audience during his BSA update, which included updates on the importance of the  Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020 and Suspicious Activity Reports.

The education piece completed, it was time for some fun and teller appreciation. Raffle tickets were given to attendees and excitement grew as everyone waited to see who would win one of several gift cards. The chapter would like to thank all those that donated gift cards to show their appreciation to the front-line staff.
