Old Murdock Senior Center Food Pantry Supported by IC Credit Union
A check for $4,000 to the Old Murdock Senior Center Food Pantry is the fourth donation that IC Credit Union has given through their “Empower” initiative. “Since the shutdown of many businesses locally due to Covid-19, two senior center staff members deliver, on average, 100 meals per day to Winchendon residents,” said Sheila Bettro, Director of the Center. “In addition, the center is open for grab and go lunches daily,” continued Ms. Bettro, “and we are sincerely grateful for this donation, it will help a great deal.”
“The Old Murdock Senior Center has been a vital part of this community for many years,” said Jennifer Maguy, Community Coordinator at IC, “and we are grateful for their service.”
