Roland Carlson, board member and former board chairman at Central One Federal Credit Union, passed away November 2, 2020. Mr. Carlson served on Central One’s board of directors for the last 26 years, where he was elected chairman of the board from 2010 to 2019 and was currently serving on the Personnel, Governance, and Nominating Committees.

Mr. Carlson served in the United States Navy from 1956-1958. After his military service, he worked as an internal auditor at the New England Electric Service for 35 years. Mr. Carlson served ten years on the Worcester Housing Authority Board of Commissioners and served on the City of Worcester’s Citizens Advisory Committee for two years.
