HRCU Promotes Travis Bissonnette to Senior Vice President of Lending

Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) in Rochester, NH is pleased to announce the promotion of Travis Bissonnette to Senior Vice President of Lending. To this role, Bissonnette brings his extensive experience in both consumer and business lending. As an SBA lender, he has been responsible for significant growth to HRCU’s Member Business program for the past few years.

“Travis’s leadership in lending and his commitment to our membership over the years has helped to grow and position our credit union to serve an expanding member base,” remarked Brian Hughes, President and CEO. “Travis has always been committed to offering the lending products members need, when they need them most. During the pandemic, HRCU was able to help 150 local business owners and their nearly 600 employees stay afloat, through the Paycheck Protection Program. Travis was instrumental to HRCU’s ability to not only provide this assistance quickly, but also ensure every dollar of the over $3.65 million funded were forgiven in full, while continuing to increase and strengthen HRCU’s business lending relationships.” 

As SVP of Lending, Bissonnette is primarily responsible for overseeing the consumer, business, and mortgage loan portfolios, as well as the development and implementation of strategic lending strategies. He has been active in the Greater Seacoast banking industry for the past 18 years and joined HRCU in 2015 with roles including Consumer Lending Manager, Assistant VP of Consumer and Business Lending, and VP of Member Business Services.

Bissonnette is a graduate of the CUNA Business Lending School and recognized by CU Direct in 2019 for becoming a Top 20 Lender in New England. He is also active in the business community having served on many Board of Directors including Rochester Main Street, Rochester, NH Chamber of Commerce, Roger Allen Park Association, and Friends of Spaulding Baseball.

 

Cynthia McCormick joins HRCU as Senior Vice President of Member Experience

$420 million Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) in Rochester, NH is delighted to welcome Cynthia McCormick as Senior Vice President of Member Experience. McCormick brings to HRCU her expertise and experience of retail banking, core conversion, de novo branching, deposit compliance, and marketing.

“Cynthia brings the kind of experience to HRCU that aligns so well with our focus on member services and our community,” said Brian Hughes, President & CEO of HRCU. “Besides her credit union and member service experience, she brings a great deal of expertise and enthusiasm to HRCU.”

McCormick will focus on working with her team to deliver an exceptional member experience and brand reputation across all credit union channels and touchpoints, including the full spectrum of in-person and remote member services and marketing. She further brings a strong desire to help make a positive impact in the community. Prior to joining HRCU, she served as Senior Vice President of Retail and Deposit Operations for Member First Credit Union and has been a part of the banking industry for over 16 years. The credit union difference of leading a not-for-profit cooperative mission of people helping people, led McCormick to this career path in community financial services.

Previously, McCormick has been involved with the Greater Manchester NH Chamber of Commerce, New Horizons and the FiT Walk Against Hunger.  In addition, she regularly volunteers statewide for credit union events with Make A Wish NH and the Cooperative Credit Union Association. McCormick earned her BA from the University of New Hampshire and her MA from the University of Nottingham, England.
