Credit Unions of Rhode Island Expand Basketball Sponsorship to Include Entire 2021 Season
The credit union tradition continues for the 2021 Rhode Island high school basketball season. The season, which began at the end of January, has been condensed into a one-month time frame - adding excitement as teams compete to be part of the playoffs. In addition to a shortened season, another change for the 2021 season is there will be no state tournament. Instead the culmination of the season, RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 6 & 7, will be the divisional championships for both the boys and girls in divisions I, II and III.
The Credit Unions of Rhode Island are once again proud to be the presenting sponsor for the 31st year. The Credit Unions of Rhode Island are featured under the banner of the Cooperative Credit Union Association’s (CCUA) consumer awareness campaign, Better Values - Better Banking. Both fans and players alike will see the consumer credit union brand logo throughout the season.
This is a premier occasion for the Credit Unions of Rhode Island to increase their visibility through a great community event, while supporting local high school athletes.
During the season, participating credit unions can take advantage of some great publicity opportunities, including:
- Social media mentions as the sponsor throughout the season.
- Banner promoting Credit Unions as the overall sponsor displayed during games.
- Social media mention as a sponsor of specific basketball matchups.
- Digital program guide with credit union ads.
In addition, to culminate the divisional championships, shirts, hats, and trophies will be awarded to the champions in each division for boys and girls.
