Crashing the GAC

The Cooperative Credit Union Association had five "Crashers" at CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference held March 10 -14 in Washington, D.C.

Crash the GAC' is a non-stop, career-changing program for credit union young professionals that allows them to experience the industry’s largest advocacy conference, CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference, in a dynamic way with exclusive networking opportunities, leadership development tools, and mentoring sessions with industry leaders from organizations such as Filene Research Institute, National Credit Union Foundation, and Credit Union National Association.

Natashia F. Osborne of DEXSTA Federal Credit Union represented Delaware; Laura Galeski of Hanscom Federal Credit Union and Sarah Jordan of The Polish National Credit Union represented Massachusetts; Jake Powers of St. Mary’s Bank represented New Hampshire; and Siran Krikorian of Greenwood Credit Union represented Rhode Island.

CUNA provides Crashers with a complimentary registration fee to attend the conference. CCUA provided a $100 scholarship to each of our five Crashers. This year 100 Crashers representing every state in the nation attended the 10th 'Crash the GAC' event, the Cooperative Trust’s largest ‘crash’ ever.
