CCUA Offers Developing Great Managers Program at Marlborough Headquarters

Credit union professionals attended the first day of CCUA’s 3-day management training program hosted at its Marlborough headquarters. Developing Great Managers is an interactive program designed to test, challenge, update, and enhance the skills of experienced managers so they can lead, inspire, motivate, guide, and shape the future. Within the framework of "Managing Oneself," participants examined perceptions of themselves and their roles as leaders; and delved into topics, such as leadership vs. management, time and stress management, and communication - the focus of which was a debriefing of the DISC behavioral assessment tool. They also shared on-the-job experiences and networking opportunities. Participants meet for the program's second and third sessions, "Managing the Business" and "Managing Others," in April and May, respectively.
