CCUA Hosts Emerging Trends in Consumer Lending Session at Delaware Office

Thirteen credit union professionals, representing eight Delaware credit unions, attended the Emerging Trends in Consumer Lending session on Wednesday morning at CCUA’s Delaware office in Newark. Sean Flynn, Director, Credit Union, Trans Union reviewed the importance for credit unions to continue to change to meet or exceed consumer demands, as the competitive landscape evolves and consumer expectations shift. 

Flynn shared perspectives on how new lenders are coming to market with advanced credit and risk capabilities to compete across multiple lines of business, and provided attendees with insights and recommendations on how their credit unions can do the same, enabling smarter decisions and empowering members in the “Consumer First” era. He provided examples of strategies credit unions can employ to enhance their credit and risk capabilities.

As the session concluded, attendees asked Flynn questions, exchanged valuable information and networked. Flynn will also present Emerging Trends in Consumer Lending as a breakout session at CCUA’s Annual Convention on Thursday, October 17th
