Berkshire Chapter Announces Board; Prepares for Upcoming Year

As the summer progresses, the Board of Directors of the Berkshire County Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. has been diligently meeting to prepare for the 2019-2020 season and has renewed its commitment to member communication and invitation for involvement.

At the recent reorganization meeting following its Annual Meeting, the Board elected its officers and is pleased to announce the following positions:

Mark Mancari, Chapter President, Greylock Federal Credit Union

Michael Maddalena, Chapter Vice President, MyCom Federal Credit Union                 

Nancy Canino, Chapter Secretary, MyCom Federal Credit Union

Terry Ziemba, Chapter Treasurer, Greylock Federal Credit Union

Continuing to represent its members and serve on the Board as Directors are:

Kathy Francoeur, Chapter Director, Credit Union of the Berkshires                                                          

Melissa Morin, Chapter Director, Credit Union of the Berkshires

Season’s Opener: Tuesday, September 24, 2019, The Proprietors Lodge, Pittsfield, Elder Financial Exploitation, Walter Laskos, SVP, Strategic Communications, Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc.

Winter Meeting: Wednesday, December 4, 2019, Zucchini’s Restaurant, Pittsfield, Employee Engagement, Bill Nagle, SVP, Professional Development, Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc.

Annual Meeting: Wednesday, May 13, 2020, Pittsfield Country Club, Industry Update, Ron McLean, President/CEO, Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc.

 

Plans are also underway for a newer “mini-meeting” format, as well as the annual student essay contest, college scholarship program, staff/volunteer appreciation, social responsibility and holiday celebrations. Another new feature for the upcoming season will be a new partnership with Eastern Corporate Federal Credit Union to help elevate educational resources and program support for the Chapter and its members.

All meetings will include refreshments, networking opportunities, Association updates, door prize drawings, giveaways, and more.

The Chapter encourages all member credit unions to attend and bring a colleague to its meetings. Representation in and support of the Berkshire County Chapter meetings and events, held locally, strengthens our entire movement.
