2022 CCUA GAC Room Block - Reservations First Come, First Served

Preparations for the 2022 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference are underway by the Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. As a convenient service exclusively for credit union members of the Association at no cost, the Association has negotiated a room block for our CUNA GAC attendees. By participating in the Association's room block and making any changes directly through the Association, penalties and cancellation costs may be limited and opportunities for clearing waiting lists after the room deadline are increased.

If you are interested in participating in the room block sponsored by the Association, then please return the Room Reservation Form, available HERE, to govaff-events@ccua.org.

  • Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis. Those without a credit card securing payment cannot be accepted without exception.
  • A request for a room without a reservation form completed in full and confirmed by the Association does not secure reservations.

A major credit card is required for ALL reservations and must be included on the Room Reservation Form. Credit cards will not be charged at the time of the reservation. The card will only be charged if the reservation is changed and/or cancelled after December 10, 2021.

Accommodations are available at the Courtyard Washington Downtown Convention Center, 901 L Street, Washington, D.C. This hotel, newly built within the last two years, is a CUNA-affiliated hotel and is conveniently located directly adjacent to the convention center. Hotel room rates are $309 per night, single/double occupancy, plus taxes at 14.95%.

Careful attention should be paid to arrival and departure dates. This information is most important.

Key dates:

  • A Room Reservation Form containing all information requested must be received by Friday, December 10, 2021. Any changes or cancellations made after this date are subject to a charge of $309.00 plus tax.
  • No changes or cancellations may be made after February 10, 2022.

Upon receipt of your completed form by December 10, an acknowledgement will be sent by the Association to you. This action will secure your room reservation based upon availability. Please note that it is not a hotel confirmation. In February, the hotel will also provide you with a confirmation number automatically generated from their system. 

A $309.00 plus tax cancellation penalty will apply once your reservation is confirmed by the Association for cancellations received after December 10. Any changes or cancellations after December 10 will be subject to a fee. No changes or cancellations can be made after February 10, 2022. Any changes to your reservation, such as cancellations, early departures, or additions, MADE AT ANY TIME MUST be made through the Association, NOT the hotel. This procedure will minimize fees imposed on registrants by either the Association or the Hotel.

CUNA’s Housing Bureau will open for reservations today. By agreeing to participate in the Association's room block now, your Credit Union will not be required to secure separate rooms directly through CUNA’s Housing Bureau. Our room block has been segregated from the general inventory of CUNA rooms. Duplicate reservations will be cancelled automatically within the Housing Bureau.
