New Hampshire Credit Unions established a very strong partnership with Make-A-Wish New Hampshire in 1997. Through a variety of initiatives and activities, the New Hampshire Social Responsibility Committee provides a vehicle through which the credit unions can combine resources to address the wishes of children who face life-threatening medical conditions. Over the years, that relationship, the bond between credit unions and this outstanding organization, has become stronger as has the respect for the tremendous work that they do.

The reason for the lasting success of the relationship between the New Hampshire Credit Unions and Make-A-Wish New Hampshire is a shared commitment to service. The mission statement of  Make-A-Wish New Hampshire clearly states that commitment.

"Make-A-Wish New Hampshire grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy."

The staff and volunteers of Make-A-Wish New Hampshire strive to provide children with the hope for better times, the strength for the tough times and the joy to experience the present.  As part of the nation’s largest and most recognized wish-granting organization, with chapters and volunteers throughout the United States and the world, Make-A-Wish draws on that strength, as well as their vast local network, to help children’s dreams come true…right here in New Hampshire every day. Make-A-Wish volunteers bring wishes to life with passion and creativity throughout the year as wish granters, fundraisers, ambassadors, and office volunteers.
