Program:  Improving Customer Service
Your organization only has one chance to make a first impression. People make judgements in the first 30 seconds and have many banking options in today’s digital world so it’s especially crucial for your staff to be equipped with the tools they need to exceed your member’s expectations.

This presentation is designed to help you strengthen your member’s commitment to your credit union and improve your processes and procedures for dealing with difficult situations before they happen by making sure your frontline staff are well-trained. Communication expert Laurel Egan Kenny from TurningPoint Communications will discuss various communication skills, factors that affect quality of service, differentiate various personality types and how to effectively meet their needs individually. The topics taught at this seminar will provide guidance to any individual who provides customer service to your members so that they can maintain a positive image for your credit union, ensuring return business and lessening attrition.

We will review how to:

  • Communicate effectively with members
  • Create a positive impression
  • Develop and maintain customer service standards
  • Deal with difficult members
  • Plan good customer service

Tellers and retail staff are encouraged to attend the meeting.
