2018 Young Professionals - Danielle Carrozza

Danielle Carrozza
Eagle One Federal Credit Union

Danielle Carrozza has been an integral part of Eagle One FCU since she began working as a team member in 2011. To say that she is a high-achieving employee is an understatement. When Danielle began working part-time with the credit union, her spirit and energy helped to invigorate the staff.  As a member service representative, she assisted members with their day-to-day financial needs and always went the extra mile to ensure that the member received a financial solution.  She was also always willing to step in and assist a co-worker with projects or member issues. At that time, she was working on completing her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing. She also simultaneously achieved high honors on her Cabrini University Volleyball team where she earned first-team awards in her conference, as well as player of the year, Cabrini’s female student-athlete of the year, and was named an All-American athlete.

Danielle became a full-time employee as the credit union’s marketing assistant after completing her undergraduate degree. She actively worked both as a credit union employee and as an advocate for credit union young professionals in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, attending numerous events and conferences as a YP representative for this region. She helped to coordinate young professional events within Eagle One, including bowling nights, an evening with the CEO, yoga, and volunteer opportunities.

In March 2016 she began working on her Master’s in Business Administration at Wilmington University while still working with the credit union as a full time employee. Danielle had the discipline to thrive as an Eagle One employee while completing her MBA, simultaneously. She faced the challenges of being a working student and a high-level employee while always maintaining professionalism.  Her strength of character, commitment to her career, and desire for success helped her in the successful completion of her MBA program in the Summer of 2018.

Throughout her employment, she has dedicated herself to growing within Eagle One, and currently holds several key positions including: Finance and Marketing Coordinator, the administrative assistant to the CEO, and has a seat on the credit union’s ALCO and Investment Committee. Danielle oversees the accounting department and is responsible for the management of two staff members. She also manages the credit union’s investment portfolio, as well as the monthly closing processes. In recent years, Eagle One has had several mergers as well as a core conversion, in which Danielle was responsible for helping to coordinate the staff and prepare the finance department for the changes.

Danielle is an integral part of the credit union’s succession plan, and as high hopes about her future with Eagle One. Over the years, she has demonstrated her work ethic, desire to learn, and leadership abilities as an employee of the credit union. The dedication she has to succeeding in the face of challenges, including school, sports, and in the workplace, has proven her worth as an outstanding and noteworthy young professional.
