A follow-up to a prior One City edition examining how immigrants of color are changing the racial and cultural landscape of America. Birth of a New Nation presents a dialogue about changing the racial paradigm of American culture in the next millennium. In an effort to develop an expansive public education campaign about the impact of public policy decisions on race relations, the Council and Human Relations Foundation of Chicago collaborated to copublish this issue of One City.
