2007 Corporate Diversity Award The Chicago Council on Urban Affairs invites you to nominate your company for our Annual Corporate Diversity Award. The Council believes that Chicagos corporate community deserves citywide recognition for their efforts to promote diversity within their company and the community. The purpose of the award is to recognize and honor companies that have demonstrated a commitment to developing a diverse and inclusive workplace. Since the inception of its Corporate Diversity Award, the Council has awarded Ariel Capital Management, Inc., Motorola, the Northern Trust Company, Allstate Insurance Company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Quarles & Brady LLP, and Harris Bank. All of these companies have made diversity part of their business plan and have developed programs and activities to ensure the success of their diversity initiatives. Our Corporate Diversity Award recipient will be honored at the Councils Annual Awards Dinner honoring corporate and community excellence. Along with the award, the winner will receive recognition in Council publications, on the Councils web site, and special recognition from Chicagos news media.
